{Cocktail Hour} Rosemary’s Blush


Rosemary’s Blush

2 oz grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed
1 1/2 oz gin
3/4 oz honey simple syrup (recipe below)
1/2 oz lemon juice
rosemary sprig (and more for garnish)
sea salt
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add juice, gin, honey simple syrup, lemon juice, rosemary sprig and salt. Shake until thoroughly chilled, around 20 seconds. Strain into an old fashioned glass (rimmed with sea salt) and garnish with another sprig of rosemary and grapefruit peel. Serve.

Honey Simple Syrup

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup water
Combine in small saucepan and warm over medium heat. Stir until it simmers, take off heat and let cool.

Caramel Apple Bourbon Cocktail


Caramel Apple Bourbon Cocktail

Warm your bones on chilly nights with this caramel apple bourbon cocktail.

Serves: 1

2 ounces Bulleit bourbon
2 ounces apple juice
½ tablespoon caramel sauce

Add ingredients into a small saucepan on the stove.
Stir to melt the caramel and mix the ingredients.
Once the caramel is melted and everything is warm, pour into a small glass cup that has been rinsed with hot water and enjoy!

Cocktail hour: The Moscow mule


Moscow Mule

Serves 2

Classic cocktail made with vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice and lots of lime. It’s the perfect summer beverage to cool down and relax with!


1 lime, cut in half
4 ounces vodka
8 to 12 ounces ginger beer (or ginger ale)
fresh lime slices, for garnish
fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
lots of ice


Fill two short glasses (Moscow Mules are normally served in copper mugs) with lots of ice. Divide the ginger beer and vodka between the two glasses. Squeeze half a lime in each glass and give it a gentle stir. Garnish with lime and mint. Enjoy!


Pomegranate & Elderflower mojito


1.5 ounces of spiced rum

A splash of elderflower syrup

1/2 ounce of pomegranate juice

Spearmint leaves (washed and separated)

The juice of 2 fresh limes


Muddle spearmint leaves and lime juice in a martini shaker and build with ice and the remainder of ingredients. Shake well and pour all of the contents into a chilled glass.  Garnish with a mint sprig and pomegranate seeds.350178e4151509eaa7e785a1e9f562f6
